I loved the Easter bunny.  Daddy sat me down on his lap, and I just grinned and smiled away.

Grace 7 months…looks like a character from “Where The Wild Things Are” (out now in theaters)

Its been a little while since we posted something but I just wanted to make a quick post on how fast Grace is learning and growing.  If you follow the twitter than you’ve been probably getting most of this.  But this is a list of things she has been doing very well the last month to two months

1. Grace is very good at flipping herself over (eh off the couch too), and she can sit herself up and maintain her balance all by herself.  Regarding sitting herself up with perfect balance…Her doctor said most babies cannot handle this until 7-8 months…Grace has been doing this since 4 going on 5 months and she is 6months now.
2. Grace has been eating small amounts of big people food…such as water ice, mashed potatoes (gravy too).
3. Grace has said “jesus”, and she says “Hey” when you great her and say “Hey” to her
4. Grace crawls a little, moves around ALLOT, always reaches and grabs for things everywhere, and she pulls herself up to her feet in the crib…she will climb all over your body too
5. Grace sleeps very well, and she wakes up SO HAPPY!  She has always been consistently good like this, with the exception of 1 or 2 fussy nights per month (which has always been due to broken routine).  She almost always sleeps by 930ish and she will wake up when I get up to go to work around 730 8:00am…i look forward to the small 10-15 minutes i get to spend time with her in the morning before i leave.  She is delightful, flirty and playful
6. Grace knows how to give kisses, and she will raise her hands and try to say Hallelujah when asked…but it sounds more like “harajaeehhehahlallalala” 
7. Grace has powerful legs…and she can support herself on her two legs when helped balancing (see #4)…we’re curious to see when she will walk
8. Grace LOVES our dog Simba…she is fascinated with him
9. Grace drinks out of a sippy cup occasionally
